Hey, I’m Eden!

I’m a self-taught artist and Local 44 Property Craftsperson who loves to have a little fun at work. I’m always looking for ways I can bring new skills into my job like sewing and crochet, graphic design, 3D elements, photography and more!

I grew up in Severna Park, Maryland as an avid crafter and aspiring photographer, then I moved to LA after getting rejected from art school. I never really felt like I wanted to go to college, but I didn’t always know that was an option…

After moving to LA, I got a job as a Production Assistant on a new talk show, which lead me to discover the art department! I had no idea how much fun could be had at work, but when I started helping the prop department on my breaks, I realized this could be what I was working towards my whole life. I never had an artistic niche, but I knew I was good at making “anything you want,” and guess what?! That’s props!

After working in the industry for six years, I was able to join IATSE Local 44 in 2020 and have been working in props ever since!

When I started planning my son’s first birthday party in 2022, I discovered a passion for events that I didn’t realize I had. This passion was lit on FIRE when I began planning my wedding in 2023 and now I can’t help but go “all-out” for every party. I realized how much overlap there was between my day job and my love for parties and a lot of my skills translated seamlessly into events!

Now I work seasonally on set as a property assistant and spend my off-time planning parties, making props at home, and playing pretend with my kids, Atticus and Carmela.
