Production Assistant

I moved out to LA because my aunt was working on a new talk show and got me a PA job as soon as I turned 18 — yes, I was one of those “must-hire-PAs” but I earned my striped and climbed the ranks and eventually ware promoted to key PA on set.

I started as a runner and office PA where I learned the ropes of releases and petty cash receipts and POs — then I requested to move to stage (because that’s where the fun is.) From there, I ended up as the talent/ guest PA, where I escorted our guests to their dressing rooms, got their coffee orders and anything else they requested, and cleaned up after them. It gave me a lot of confidence speaking with talent, which has helped me as a prop person today!

Whenever I got a break as a PA, I would spend it in the prop office. I quickly became friends with the crew and helped them with small tasks where I could. In 2017, our show finally had the budget to bring on an art PA and I was officially transferred to the art department!
