The prompt: Recreate the blue dress worn by talent for a crochet doll to wear

I started by creating the dress shape with royal blue satin, then stitched each ruffle around. The straps of the dress had their own ruffles, overlapping to create the fluffy look in the reference photo. The dress was finished with a half-length Velcro seam down the skirt and small snaps to secure the back ends of the straps to the waistband.
