Paperclip necklace

Made for Let’s Make A Deal season 12 - November 2020

The prompt: the trader will have to chose between the mystery prize behind the curtain or $1 per undisclosed number of paperclips on a paperclip necklace.

I used multiple sizes and shapes of paperclips to create a layered necklace, making it harder for the trader to estimate the amount of clips on the necklace.

Final count: 232 paperclips

I didn't know it was possible to make a career out of crafting, but after years in the art department it all makes sense. I think I've been training for this my whole life!

This is the only job I can imagine myself having. And I'm finding ways to work with props OUTSIDE of the TV industry -- its possible! And so rewarding.
